Yet Another Glaceon Papercraft by JWNoctis Yet Another Glaceon Papercraft by JWNoctis
Design by Brandon
Source(get it here): This [link]
CC BY-NC-SA inherited from [link]
Paper used: 160 g/m^2 color jet sprayed with fixative post-finishing
Difficulty: Moderate
Time taken: 15~20 hours
Bloodloss from knife cuts: 0 ml
Fun factor: Priceless!

------

So...This is my first attempt at a papercraft of this kind. All parts are tight-fitting and it looked really beautiful on a table or a shelf. Pretty good, I guess.

And this is, as far as I can tell, at least the seventh, or eighth counting in the original built from the same design on dA. Check out the others: rafex17's [link] TheyCallMeKorn's [link] zonnikku's [link] Akita48's [link] CBuizel's [link] DragonManga's [link] and of course the original, Skeleman's [link]

Speaking of experiences, I should have botched a bit less of those unsightly white edges, and colored them before gluing. And a kind of non-acidic, fast-curing, and non-waterbased glue is very much a requirement. Papakura viewer has also been very helpful.

Some notes: Do not glue the lower part of the rear piece before attaching the right back leg. That caused a bit of trouble over here. And it will probably be better to glue the fur strips on the sides of the head last, or they'll get in the way and can get damaged easily. Follow the numbers all else, and it will turn out like a charm.

Desk decorations in the background include ComputerSherpa's Periodic Table of Storytelling [link] , and raizy's Wheel of Eeveelution [link]

Edit: Browser woes. Some settings didn't get in on first submit.
